A car was crashed into FLYEfit gym in Coolock and set alight last night.
The Gardai are investigating the incident as an arson attack. Photos from the scene, posted to Twitter, reveal extensive fire damage done to the front of the building.
The FLYEfit Coolock branch posted a message to their Facebook, notifying FLYE members that they are welcome to use any of the other FLYE gyms and that their memberships will be preserved so they don’t lose any time in the gym as a result of the attack.
The Garda Press Office confirmed that the incident took place after in the early hours of Monday morning, and that Gardai arrived to scene at around 2am. Nobody was injured in the incident, and nobody has been placed under arrest yet.
