Pic: County Derry farmer brilliantly mows gigantic moustache into his field in aid of Movember

This is the proper way to put the 'mo' into 'mowing'...

Eoghan Doherty

One Derry farmer is certainly outstanding in a field of his own… or out mowing in a field of his own at least.

Properly putting the ‘mo’ into ‘mowing’, a farmer from Ballykelly, Derry, has expertly cultivated a huge Ronnie into one of his long grass fields. Here at JOE we certainly admire his super shaving skill with a tractor, but we’re not sure that we’d ever let him and his blades near our face though.

Of course, it could help if we could actually grow a proper moustache in the first place.

According to a report on the BBC website, “A field belonging to a Ballykelly farmer has been cultivated to show a giant long grass moustache. The ‘mo’ is 120m long and was created to help raise awareness of the Movember charity – which encourages people to grow facial hair in an attempt to raise awareness of men’s health issues.”

Check out his amazing horticultural handy skills here:

At this point we’ve no image of the farmer himself but we really hope  that he looks something like this:
