Pic: Donald Trump accidentally puts images of Nazis on his presidential campaign poster

Not the message Trump was trying to send.

US Presidential candidate Donald Trump thought that he was tweeting a patriotic poster of his face alongside the US armed forces but the reality was somewhat different.

In a move that’s typical of his presidential campaign so far, Trump’s camp made a severe error of judgement when they posted his face alongside a photo of some soldiers wearing Nazi uniforms.

As you can see in the bottom right of the picture, there’s a image of four soldiers who are imposed into the background of the photo.

A couple of very sharp people on Twitter were quick to notice that this is an old stock photo and the men behind the American flag were actually dressed as elite Nazi Waffen-SS soldiers.

Now while the men are simply reenacting the war and were not actual Nazis, it’s still a major blunder for the presidential hopeful to make, although he has since blamed an intern for the error.

It doesn’t seem to have made a difference to Trump’s popularity however, as he is still leading the polls for the Republican candidates.

Hat tip to the Guardian.
