The car has since been removed and there was nobody hurt, but you’d have to wonder how it ended up there in the first place.
The picture below of what appears to be a Ford Focus was sent into us by Aurora Casserley and was taken in Rosses Point in Sligo, with the front right wheel of the car hanging over the side of a bridge with a drop of approximately 12 metres below and the left front wheel perilously close to doing likewise.
Spanning nearly the entire footpath, it appears as if the car veered over from the other side of the road and was left there by whoever was driving it, but Aurora was able to inform us that the car has since been removed and, thankfully, that nobody was hurt.
