“It was from my friend’s roof top in Brooklyn. The person’s roof who I was on, I met through Instagram. We were all sitting in the rain on his roof celebrating his birthday, just trying to catch the lightning shot and I got lucky with that one.”

Karim opened his own Instagram account to document the streets of New York, the photographer has gathered 34,000 followers for his efforts.
