Over the weekend The Sun published an article that said two UFOs were spotted over the Scientology HQ in the UK. Well The Sun would like to apologise… to the aliens.

If you head over to The Sun website today you’ll see that the lads at the red top decided to write an apology – something that all newspapers hate doing – because lawyers for The Church of Scientology asked for one. Well, we have a feeling that someone in the editorial department is having a great laugh, seeing as the apology is aimed towards the aliens.

Here’s exactly what it says…

“IN an article on Saturday headlined ‘Flying saucers over British Scientology HQ’, we stated “two flat silver discs” were seen “above the Church of Scientology HQ”.

“Following a letter from lawyers for the Church, we apologise to any alien life forms for linking them to Scientologists.”

That’ll teach them for asking The Sun for an apology…
