You can expect delays if you’re currently commuting on the Luas Red Line as there has been a collision between a tram and a BMW on the junction of Abbey St & Capel St.
Due to the collision, the Red Line is now running between Tallaght/Saggart & Smithfield, according to AA Roadwatch.

It’s unclear yet as to how the car managed to crash into the Luas, but judging by the Tweet below, which was sent into us by Connor Keppel, the car has been left with some serious damage.
Reports from Twitter say that there are no injuries sustained either by Luas passengers or by the driver of the car and the Gardaí are currently on scene keeping things under control.
So if you were planning on getting the Red Line in the next hour, you might want to get a taxi.
