We know property prices are historically low but are they so low that housing estates in south Dublin are being sold to graze cattle?

Those of us who are from the country will be familiar with the phenomenon of waking up to find your front garden full of livestock now and again. Being surrounded by fields it literally goes with the territory.

But in the leafy south Dublin suburbs, cattle are not normally seen wandering around. That’s what makes this pic, tweeted out today by 98FM presenter Caroline Smith (@caroline98FM), so odd.
