Homenews

If you’re looking for the perfect gift to really rile someone up this holiday season then look no further than this free water meter that’s currently being given away to whoever will take it…

DoneDeal is great for finding the odd bargain here and there, but it’s also a goldmine for funny, but fake, parody ads. Earlier this week there was some lad claiming to be called Elmo selling gnomes in reference to the latest episode of Love/Hate and we also saw one pretty cool pimped out tractor (which turned out to be fake – surprise, surprise). This time around, there’s a man named Mick is giving away his 2-month-old water meter as he says it’s an “unwanted gift from Irish water. Not needed as have already been paying for water for ages and ages…” (sic). “Yours to take away… (Can throw in some Fine Gael and Labour election leaflets for wrapping purposes).” 34098839 This could be your present sorted for the office Kris Kindle… just sayin’. Head on over to the DoneDeal website to view the advert in full. Hat tip to Martyn Rosney for sending this our way on Twitter
