Remember the story we featured in early 2013 about Ireland’s Largest Pothole, which was located in Cork and was big enough to bathe in? You can still check out the video here. Well, we think this pothole spotted by JOE reader Claire Geraghty near Blacksod in Co. Mayo has beaten it for the title of Ireland's biggest pothole, mainly because there’s practically no road left. image Speaking to JOE, Claire said she was heading out to walk her dog when she stumbled across what was left of the costal road. Judging by the picture below, the town was also hit pretty badly and will require a fairly substantial clean up effort. 1004933_800655859949903_1667530729_n The weather has certainly been taking its toll on the country and you can check out more storm damage pics in this feature, which was published on JOE earlier today.
