Pic: Texas police release terrible sketch of wanted man that looks like a cartoon

We have a feeling the suspect might escape undetected based on this effort by the police artist.

We have a feeling the suspect might escape undetected based on this effort by the police artist.

Thanks to advances in technology, and to the skill of police artists, most sketches of wanted criminals are decent enough these days. The days of the standardised ‘photofits’ are over, and quite realistic ‘e-fits’ have become the norm.

But over in Texas, in Lamar County to be precise, an image has just been released that shows that technology can still produce a pretty crap likeness.

The Daily Mail report that a man robbed two women at knifepoint in Paris, Texas last week and using the description given by the victims (6ft tall with short black hair, a round face and tattoos on his arms and neck) this is what was issued for the man hunt.

Sketch

We think it is safe to say if anyone actually looks like this, they will be picked up immediately. Until then, Morph better keep a low profile.
