It’s the end of an era…
Today is the last day of the Metro Herald and we’re absolutely devastated that we won’t be meeting those nice people in the street handing out the paper in the morning.
The distributors of the paper are a common sight for Dubliners every morning and their politeness and courtesy are famed.
The front page of today's Metro Herald is a poignant picture of the staff who work for the paper and will now be unemployed as a result of its closure.
It's a sad sad day.
