Ryan Giggs announced his retirement from professional football yesterday and today the official Manchester United Twitter account tweeted this brilliant picture made up of the names of all the 150 players he played with at Old Trafford.

There are some legendary names in there and some not so legendary; Michael Clegg, Gabriel Obertan and Eric Djemba-Djemba spring to mind with regard to the latter category. And who knew there were two Lee Martins?
Still though, it’s a nice tribute from the club and the sheer breadth of names, from a number of different generations, illustrates the extent of his longevity in what was a truly remarkable playing career.
A lovely touch.
