Pic: This cartoon image of what’s required to find a place to rent in Dublin is brilliant

We can provide our landlord with a fair few of these…

As soon as JOE could afford to move into a place of our own we took the big step and left our parents house. We were 7 years old.

Despite living independently, we still frequently returned to our parents house because lets face it, who else is going to wash our clothes?

We have all been through the stresses that come with finding a new place to live and asked ourselves the same questions.

Is your roommate cool, is this new place close to work and does our landlord require a photo of us with the Pope?

Maybe not the last point but it might as well be a requirement according to this brilliant cartoon below.

With rents in Dublin continuing to soar it seems that the landlords have the upper hand right now.

You’ll have to excuse JOE, we’re off to record a tape of our confessions just in case we decide to move. It should only take two minutes in total because we are good lads after all.

*Cough, cough*
