It’s definitely memorable.
Up until today, the amount of times you’ve ever been forced to visualise someone putting their, ahem, manhood into a pastry was probably restricted to seeing American Pie back in 1999.
Marks & Spencer have set out to change all that though with their new advertising campaign, letting you know straight up that they are proudly “putting the D” in your bread.

Who’s ‘D’? How long are they leaving the ‘D’ there? Are they wearing protection? None of that seems to be answered here but-

What they mean is that their bread is a natural source of vitamin D.
Of course, of course, that makes more sense. Well, it doesn’t ‘make sense’, per se, but it’s funny all the same.
