In fairness, you only have to look out the window to get today’s forecast.

According to Met Éireann, there’s a massive band of rain currently sweeping across the country and, unfortunately, it’s going to stick around for most of the day.

Those on the west coast should start to see things clearing up later today leading to some brief clear patches, but further spells of heavy rain is expected to hit all areas of the country later tonight… great.

Met Éireann has also issued two weather warnings, the first is the overall Status Orange National Warning and the second is a Status Yellow Gale Warning, as strong winds are expected to hit coastal areas.

If you haven’t left for work or college already, then make sure to pack accordingly…
