Today’s big story…

Ireland’s local newspapers are a wonderful resource, keeping Ireland’s communities well-informed about what’s going on in their respective areas.

But, from time to time, some of the headlines they cook up are absolute gold. We have to give credit to whoever it is at The Meath Chronicle who wrote this uniquely Irish take on a court case about a Trim man’s disorderly behaviour.

shouting and roaring trim street

Shouting on the street is one thing, but you can’t expect to get away with both shouting and roaring in this day and age, for goodness’ sake.

It’s too blurry to make out the rest of the article, but we’d wager that this guy was probably shouting something about leaving the immersion on.

Cheers to Joanne Duffy for sending this our way.  If you have something you would like to share with us, send it to [email protected] or hit us up on Facebook or Twitter
