The tragedy continues

Without Cecil to protect them, the cubs are very vulnerable.

Cecil the Lion was killed last month by an American dentist on a hunting trip and since then his 8 cubs have been in danger from a rival male called Bubesi who is looking to take over the pride.

A second cub from Cecil the Lion’s pride is thought to be dead after park rangers have been unable to locate it and it is not with it’s siblings in Hwange National Park, Zimbabwe.

The infant lions have been adopted by their uncle Jericho but already one cub has already been killed and now a second is missing.

Since the killing of Cecil the Lion, experts have given the pride a 5% chance of survival due to the threat of the rival lion. Security has been stepped up on the park in an effort to keep the cubs safe.
