The story wasn’t in relation to the morning after a night on stout and curry either.
Working in media, especially online, the ease with which items can be published with a typo is terrifying. We all, no matter how careful we are, let the odd error slip by but usually the mistake is relatively minor and amended quickly, ideally before someone screen grabs it.
Unfortunately the folks at KFM weren’t so lucky. In a story about junior doctors working very long hours the headline ‘Mammoth shifts are the norm’ was published as ‘Mammoth sh*ts are the norm’.
The story was quickly amended, as you can see here, but eagle-eyed, and nimble fingered JOE reader Jamie Domican nabbed it and sent it our way.
