No surprise that this hashtag was trending.
The majority of political chat-shows on TV have incorporated Twitter into their structure because it’s important to encourage debate with the audience and gauge their level of involvement with particular issues.
Vincent Browne has managed to perfect this art but the producers at ABC’s Q&A might be having a few strong words with the people that are for their on-screen graphics.
Australian Prime Minister Tony Abbott was made to look quite foolish recently after this tweet managed to be broadcast on national television.
Unsurprisingly it didn’t take long until that hashtag started trending as Twitter users in Australia had a field day.
What a disgraceful Twitter handle for @QandA to broadcast! #auspol pic.twitter.com/jOToWwVq28

Should be a grown up and act disgusted at this twitter handle. But I can't help but laugh… #auspol #abbotlovesanal pic.twitter.com/G4etINlQtQ
