We’re normally not too fussy when it comes to toilet matters but even the hardiest residents of JOE Towers might think twice about spending a penny here.
Described as the most extreme toilet in the world by the New York Daily News, it is the only facility in place at a weather station in the Altai Mountains in Russia.
Five hardy souls work there, 8,500 feet above sea level, and the toilet hanging over the edge of the cliff is just one of many things that suck about working there.
Supplies arrive once a month, including toilet roll, and the article goes on to say that the fear only leaves you after years of using it. Presumably it scares the, well, you can probably guess.
