This one stopped us in our tracks.
We saw this headline on the Northern Sound website, which is a radio station serving Monaghan and Cavan. It was a headline which immediately grabbed our attention.
You can understand our intrigue, but when reading the story, we realise that the ‘concrete vibrator’ in question is not what all our filthy minds thought it was.
We very carefully Googled it and through squinted eyes, we were relieved to find out what it actually was.
“Concrete vibrators consolidate freshly poured concrete so that trapped air and excess water are released and the concrete settles firmly in place in the formwork.”
So now, there you have it.
