Something to bear in mind if you’re hitting the road around Dublin.
Major traffic delays are expected on the M50 this evening after a truck overturned near the Junction 9 exit earlier today.

The driver of the truck was subsequently taken to hospital and leaked fuel and hydraulic fluid from the truck led to slippy roads and diversions being put in place.

Junction 9 is now open again after the truck was made upright, but delays caused by the incident are likely to affect commuters using the road to return home this evening.

A breakdown on the N3 Navan Road just before the M50 interchange, which has since been cleared, may also have an effect on motorists; something to bear in mind in case you wish to take an alternative route.
