The crash in a housing estate in Grange in Cork is believed to have happened at approximately 11.40pm last night.

Residents in the area were shocked to come across the scene illustrated in the pictures below from Ardfield Park in Grange, which were sent into us by an eyewitness who preferred to remain anonymous. The pictures show a van ploughed through a high wall in a housing estate in the town, causing a significant amount of damage while knocking over a tree and destroying the garden of the house in question. vancrash vancrash1 vancrash2 Gardai are currently investigating the incident and a spokesperson from the Garda Press Office confirmed to JOE that the driver sustained injuries that are not life-threatening and was taken to hospital afterwards.
