This was a great way to kick off Limerick's run as the City of Culture in 2014
There's plenty in store for Limerick in 2014, and they kicked off the New Year in style there last night with a brilliant fireworks display, that gave all the folks who braved the cold to see it a real treat.
One of those who was out there was Mike Scanlon, who shared this great snap of the display when it was in full swing.
We can look forward to seeing plenty more events in the city this year, and this was a great start to a huge twelve months for Limerick.
