Piers Morgan posts cryptic message while pictured with Ryan Tubridy
What's he getting at?
While speculation is rife around Ryan Tubridy's next move after parting ways with RTÉ, controversial British presenter Piers Morgan has posted a picture of himself alongside former Late Late Show host with a cryptic message.
In the post, Morgan says:
The sacked presenter club! Great to see Ireland’s biggest TV star Ryan Tubridy in London today, and excited to see what he does next. RTE’s loss will definitely be someone else’s gain…
Known for being the editor of the Daily Mail before he was fired in 2004, Morgan has been a presenter for free-to-air channel TalkTV on the programme Piers Morgan Uncensored since 2022.
Mentioning that Tubridy was in London, Morgan's post will no doubt fuel further speculation that the ex-RTÉ man is looking at jobs in the UK.

GB News editorial director Michael Booker told The Sun: "Ryan Tubridy is a fantastic broadcaster. A people’s presenter with great wit and empathy."
While he refused to discuss what the negotiations were, Booker said: "We keep a keen eye on broadcasters across the UK and Ireland."
Ryan Tubridy's future is up in the air as multiple offers reported.
While a move to the UK looks a lot more likely after Piers Morgan's cryptic Tweet, Tubridy also has offers to take up a role in Ireland.
Just last week, it was reported that the broadcaster had been offered a lucrative deal to stay in Ireland and take up a new hosting gig at Classic Hits FM.
Reports say that the station is willing to match the reported €170,000 salary which was offered by RTÉ before the deal collapsed and even give him the two-hour morning slot up against his old show.
Station boss Kevin Brannigan told The Sun that Tubridy would be "a very good fit," adding that, "it's very rare to get an opportunity like this."
“We want to give Ryan Tubridy fans the option of turning the dial at 9 a.m. and hearing Ryan again."
In the meantime, while Tubridy weighs up his next move, the presenter announced that he will be releasing a "series of book recommendations" via video clips.
