Homenews

That didn't last long.

Playboy made a big fuss last year about their decision to change the editorial direction of their famous magazine. The publication announced that it was banning all photos of naked women in a bid to bring in more mainstream readers and advertisers. We thought everyone bought it for the articles anyway. That idea has bombed so their bringing back nudity in next month's issue. Playboy announced on Monday that the issue will feature topless 'Playmate' Elizabeth Elam as Miss March 2017 beside the headline "Naked is Normal." https://twitter.com/Playboy/status/831155991064506368?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw Hugh Hefner's son Cooper is the man in charge now, here's what he had to say about the u-turn.
"I’ll be the first to admit the way in which the magazine portrayed nudity was dated, but removing it entirely was a mistake. "Nudity was never the problem, because nudity isn’t a problem. Today, we’re taking our identity back and rediscovering who we are."
The magazine sold 700,000 per issue last year, the highest ever sales were in November 1972 when they sold 7.2 million copies in a month.
