Police have surrounded a school in Sheffield after reports of two teachers being taken to hospital.
Officers rushed to Fir Vale Academy on Owler Lane in Sheffield just before 1.20pm today (Thursday, 26 Feb).
Local Facebook page Sheffield Online shared an image appearing to show a police officer in the street.
The page says the "situation appears to be contained" and warned of traffic disruptions in the area.
Parents have claimed that two teachers are in hospital.
The Mirror reports around seven police cars are at the scene.
South Yorkshire Police told LBC: "Shortly after midday today (Thursday 26 February) we were called to reports of a disturbance at Fir Vale Secondary School in Owler Lane, Sheffield.
"It is reported a fight broke out between a number of students.
"Officers are at the scene and are supporting school staff in the response. Further updates will be communicated via our website or official social media channels.
"Anyone who has information is being urged to report online or call 101, quoting incident number 303 of 26 February 2026."
