ESB apologise for a number of power outages, including major outage in North Dublin

The power outages are scattered throughout the country.

The ESB have apologised for a number of power outages scattered throughout a various different parts of the country.

They said that they are dealing with “a large fault” in Dublin 15, as well as surrounding areas.

They also said that they are working on repairing as quickly as possible.

The map on their website which shows the areas affected by power outages shows that as well as Dublin 15, Dundrum, Swords, Roscommon, Limerick and other areas are also affected.

It shows that over 1,000 people in Finglas are without power, which is the largest figure on the map, which also says that over 100 people in Balbriggan and South Dublin are experiencing the outage.

A number of customers have taken to social media to complain about power outages, including people from Castleknock, Ballyfermot and Ashbourne.

There is no information available regarding when the power will return.

A statement issued by the ESB reads: “We apologise for the loss of supply. We are currently working to repair a fault affecting your premises and will restore power as quickly as possible.”
