SAFE Ireland's new campaign, entitled MAN UP, is about one simple but powerful thing: men showing pride and leadership, challenging abuse & violence, and supporting women & children. It's about making Ireland a safer place for women and children. Their belief is that behind every great man there's kindness, courage and support for women and children. A small minority of men are violent, but when the vast majority of men who are not violent, abusive or controlling, come together to speak out and stand against violence, that's when men show their true strength.
