Anyway, Michael D. Higgins was having a pretty good time on Friday night at the Galway Chamber of Commerce, where there was a dinner in his honour, and at least one guest was getting up close and personal with the man himself.
At this juncture it should be noted that the President’s wife is standing next to him, not to mention that the camera angle makes it look much worse than it is and he’s only giving her a peck on the cheek (how continental), but we still think this picture is absolutely brilliant.
