A typical Donald Trump response…

President Donald Trump is on his first overseas visit as President of the United States and he spoke in Bethlehem this morning about the terror attack in Manchester last night.

22 people, including children, died in the attack and another were 59 people injured after an improvised explosive device exploded outside an Ariana Grande concert at the Manchester Arena.

Speaking from the West Bank in Bethlehem, Trump extended his sympathies to those affected by the attacks and delivered a withering assessment of those responsible.

“I won’t call them monsters because they would like that term,” Trump said. “They would think that was a great name. I will call them losers from now on. And we’ll have more of them. But they’re losers, just remember that.

“This is what I’ve been talking about these last few days during my trip. We can have no tolerance for this continuation of bloodshed.

“I extend my deepest condolences to those so terribly injured… and to the so many families of the victims. We stand in absolute solidarity with the people of the United Kingdom.

“Young, beautiful, innocent lives [taken] by evil losers,” he said, as he called on people to protect human life from terror.

Investigations into the bombing are still ongoing with police believing the man responsible was working alone last night, but they’re working to establish whether he was working as part of a network.

The concert had concluded and people had begun to leave when the man detonated the improvised explosive device outside the arena, killing himself and 22 others.
