A massive protest against water charges is to take place in Dublin on Saturday afternoon.

Rolling road closures will take place as the protest gets underway at the Garden of Remembrance on Parnell Square at 2pm.

The demonstration has been organised by the Right2Change campaign group, and will move from Parnell Square down O’Connell Street, before turning right on to the south quays, up Winetavern Street and down Dame Street before finishing up at College Green.

Sinn Féin leader Gerry Adams is expected to address the rally.
