A search operation was carried out on Thursday.
As part of ongoing investigations into the sale of supply of controlled drugs in Kildare, Gardaí carried out a search of a house in Kildangan on Thursday.
Gardaí attached to the Kildare detective unit conducted the search operation on Thursday afternoon (6 February) after obtaining a warrant from Naas District Court, seizing over a quarter of a million euro worth of cocaine in the process.
During the search, cocaine with an estimated street value of €252,000 – pending analysis – was seized alongside a large cocaine press with scales, bagging and packing machines.
Nobody has been arrested in connection with the incident.
Investigations are ongoing.
