Some interesting findings here…

According to new research revealed today by Budweiser, only 21 per cent of the Irish public say they are working in their dream job.

Can you claim to be among the lucky few? If the answer is ‘no’ then you should check this out

So what are the Irish public’s ‘dream jobs’?

Today’s research revealed the jobs that Irish people would most like to do are: travel reviewer, professional sportsperson and writer.

Interestingly, just 28 per cent of people in Ireland think that a dream job is defined as earning lots of cash, while just 3 per cent would define their dream job as having fame or celebrity status.

For most people (73 per cent), their dream job is defined by simply doing something they enjoy followed by simply feeling happy every day (63 per cent).

Additionally, the findings named Bono (25 per cent), Rory McIlroy (20 per cent) and Michael D Higgins (16 per cent) as the top three Irish men believed to have dream jobs.

So if you see someone bad mouthing any of the three lads mentioned above on social media, you’ll know that the person in question is probably just jealous…

For those 79 per cent who are NOT currently working in their dream job, you might like to know that there’s still time left to enter the Budweiser Dream Job search where you can tell this year’s judges why you believe you deserve to win the prize of a lifetime.

You can find out more info over on the Budweiser Facebook page.
