The search for missing Galway man Robert Murray has been stood down following the discovery of a body on Sunday.
The body was found at Renmore Beach in Galway.
Murray, 25, was last seen on Tuesday 8 January in Galway city centre.
Foul play is not suspected in relation to the incident and a file will now be prepared for the coroner.
Gardaí have thanked the public for their assistance following a major search dedicated to locating Murray.
