Ronan tragically lost his brother Ciaran in a road accident.
Ronan Keating has spoken out about the loss of his brother Ciaran for the first time. The singer tragically lost his brother Ciaran in a road accident in July of this year.
Ronan said he has been struggling following the sudden loss of his beloved brother. He said his family is still coming to terms with the unimaginable loss.
Speaking on Loose Men, he said: “Yeah, we’re struggling to be honest. It’s been, it’s been a tough few months dealing with it because it was so quick, so immediate, so fast. Unexpected. We’re still figuring it all out.
“What we are doing is we’re talking to each other, and we have each other to lean on. That’s really, really important,” he added.
Keating said communicating and talking about it is somewhat helpful.
However, he said it’s still hard for him to discuss the loss because it is so recent.
“It’s all about communication, talking about it, but also having somebody who’s going through something that feels the same, that you feel they understand what I’m going through,” he said.
The singer said “You’re in so much pain and in your own head” a lot of the time.
“It’s been a very tough few months,” he said.
Keating said his family is getting through this pain together.
