The Batkid story is simply great, and this special edition of the paper tops off a great feel good story.

If you haven’t heard about five-year-old Miles Scott, then you are in for a treat. Miles was diagnosed with leukemia when he was just 18 months old. Thankfully, he is now in remission, and the folks at the Make a Wish Foundation wanted to give Miles a special day. A resident of northern California, Miles wanted to be Batman for the day, so the residents of San Francisco decided to make it happen. With the co-operation of everyone from the city’s mayor to the chief of police, Miles has spent today fulfilling his dream. Batkid Batkid, as he has become known, saves a damsel in distress on a cable car track, foils a bank robbery and rescues the kidnapped mascot of the San Francisco Giants baseball team, all the while dressed as the caped crusader and with thousands of people cheering him on from the side of the street. To commemorate his special day, the local paper, the San Francisco Chronicle, produced a special edition to celebrate their one-day transformation into Gotham City. Gotham City Chronicle Class.
