Steve McNamara, head of the London Taxi Drivers' Association said that "feelings were running high" while adding, "things turned a little bit nasty, punches were thrown and the police were called."
Apparently, some disgruntled drivers are queuing up to have the Hailo badge removed from their cabs and deleting the app.
For a lot of disgruntled London cab drivers, it's a case of 'Say Hailo, wave goodbye'. We're wondering if this is going to happen in Ireland next?
