We’ve heard of no cows being milked in the wake of big GAA wins but no milk being delivered is a moo one on us.
If you’re expecting a milk delivery in the Baldoyle area on Monday, you will be disappointed and you can blame Jim Gavin. According to this tweet, sent by Sinead Galvin to RTE’s Des Cahill today, it seems that the milkmen of Dublin are heading to Croke Park en masse on Sunday and they are expecting victory as they are all taking Monday off too.
Of course, some of them may be Mayo fans working in Dublin but we reckon they are all true Blues.
@sportsdes our milkman is definitely up for the match & a Dub win judging by note left on our doorstep this morn! pic.twitter.com/tpwBvAZ8VF

Anyway, if Dublin do win, we reckon most of the residents of Baldoyle will put up with the minor inconvenience for one day.
