Be careful.

The Food Safety Authority of Ireland have recalled batches of Walkers Sensations Thai Sweet Chilli flavour crisps.

Any packets of these crisps with the ‘best before’ dates up to and including 29 January 2019 have been recalled.

Walkers are asking that customers return certain packets of the crisps because their packaging fails to emphasise that the crisps contain wheat.

“Walkers is recalling the above batches of Walkers Sensations Thai Sweet Chilli Flavour Crisps. Wheat is indicated in the ingredients list but it is not emphasised correctly on the product label.

“This means the products are a possible health risk for anyone with an allergy or intolerance to wheat (gluten).

“If you find yourself in possession of one of the offending bags of crisps, you can call the Walkers Consumer Care Line on 1800 509 408 to receive a full refund.”
