Did you hear any thunder or lightning last night? Here’s a look at every lightning strike that hit Ireland over the past 24-hours.
The guys over at Irish Weather News recently tweeted out this radar image featuring every lightning strike that struck over a 24-hour period right up to 9 o’clock this morning.
The west, south and east of the country all got their fare share of strikes over the night, while the north managed to avoid most of it.

Twitter user James K recently tweeted out the following picture of a lightning strike in Cork and he said: ‘I was waiting for a knock on the door from The Undertaker last night’.
We have a feeling that he wasn’t talking about the wrestler…
