Three children are among four dead after a shooting in Michigan

Authorities have said that three children and a woman were found dead of apparent gunshot wounds at a home in western Michigan. According to TIME.com, Kent County Sheriff Michelle LaJoye-Young said that authorities responded on Monday to a call out to a property where someone had discovered the bodies and called 911. LaJoye-Young said that the three children who died in the shooting were primary school-aged and younger but declined to provide further information about the victims’ relationships to one another. She said authorities were still confirming the victims’ identities. A woman also died as a result of the shooting, who has not yet been identified either.
