The incident took place at 7.30 on Thursday evening.
One man has been found dead, while another has been seriously injured following a shooting in North County Dublin.
Gardaí are currently at the scene of the double shooting in Applewood Close, where a number of shots were said to have discharged on Thursday evening.
Gardaí have said that the man who was fatally injured was in his early 20s, while another man in his mid 20s has ben taken to hospital, where his condition has been described as “serious”.
Investigations are ongoing.
