It’s about time some of these were made official…

The English language is evolving all the time and new words are being thrown out there almost every day. One of the most unique offerings was on The Sunday Game earlier this year when Des Cahill’s said “Bumfuzzle” while talking about Offaly’s record in the Leinster Football Championship.

Unfortunately, “Bumfuzzle” hasn’t been added to the latest quarterly update of the Oxford Dictionary but a whole load of brilliant words have been.

The following are the new entries that have been added to OxfordDictionaries.com – Yolo (down with the kids), Listicle (here’s an example), neckbeard (hipsters), binge-watch (Netflix addict), Vape (e-cigarette users), humblebrag (hilarious example), adorbs (adorable in excited young girl speak) and side boob.

We know everyone knows what side boob is but we think Peter Griffin explains it best in this clip…
