The sister company of TK Maxx is opening two stores in Ireland

Laura Holland

Great news.

Homesense, the sister company of TK Maxx, is opening not one, but two Irish stores. The stores, which will be located in Dublin and Cork, will create 60 jobs.

It only sells homeware goods but if you’ve ever been into the homeware section in TK Maxx then you’ll know it’s pretty impressive.

They say that their branded and unique homeware selection will have huge discounts.

The first of the Homesense stores will open on June 8 at Westend Shopping Park, Blanchardstown, with a second store, on Grand Parade, Cork, opening on June 15.

According to The Sun, Deborah Dolce, Group Brand and Marketing Director, TJX Europe, said: “We are so excited about launching our second brand, Homesense, in Ireland this summer.

“Irish shoppers have warmly adopted TK Maxx since we launched twenty years ago. Customers here certainly have a keen eye for quality and are brilliant at finding bargains.

“So imagine a store the size of a TK Maxx, but just packed with branded and eclectic homeware at amazing prices – this is what Homesense has to offer and we hope shoppers will embrace it.

“It should certainly suit the house-proud and interior aficionados across Ireland who love to discover unique finds for their homes at irresistible prices.”
