Despite the good weather, swimmers could be in danger.
Sligo County Council have warned any people that might be interested in heading to Enniscrone Beach over the weekend that there will be no lifeguards on duty due to a lack of available staff.
The warning applies to both Saturday and Sunday.
The Sligo County Council have also asked people to take care and pay special attention when they’re on the beach – particularly if they plan on heading into the water.
Normal service is expected to resume next week but given the fine weather that’s expected over the weekend, this isn’t exactly welcome news.
Temperatures in Sligo are expected to reach 17° tomorrow afternoon.
