Khan has appeared in Slumdog Millionaire, Life of Pi and Jurassic World.
Indian actor Irrfan Khan has died aged 53.
It’s understood he was admitted to hospital on Tuesday and passed away on Wednesday.
In March 2018, Khan revealed he had been diagnosed with a neuroendocrine tumour.
He had major roles in a number of movies including Slumdog Millionaire and Jurassic World.
He also played the adult Piscine Molitor Patel in Life of Pi.
In a statement, the Bollywood star’s family called him “a man of few words and an actor of silent expressions with his deep eyes and his memorable actions on screen”.
