January is always a difficult month for some people, and with the current lockdown restrictions, things are probably feeling even tougher again.
But in some positive news, someone in Kerry will have their life changed forever thanks to a massive €1 million lottery win.
The National Lottery has urged Daily Million players in Kerry to check their tickets after the top prize of €1 million was won on Thursday night’s 9pm draw.
The winning numbers from the Daily Million Draw were: 5, 7, 9, 16, 34, 37 and the bonus number was 21.
The National Lottery will announce the location of where this ticket was sold tomorrow and a spokesperson said: “As with any prize worth €1 million and over, it is important that we take some time to inform the winning retailer and of course to give the winning ticketholder the time and space they need to let this amazing win sink in.”
The spokesperson appealed for players in the Kingdom to check their tickets and said: “The entire country may be suffering from a case of the January blues but someone’s day in Kerry has just got a lot brighter as they are Ireland’s newest millionaire.
“We are asking everyone in Kerry who bought a ticket for yesterday’s draw, to check their tickets very carefully and if you do happen to be this lucky winner, be sure to sign the back of the ticket and contact our prize claims team on 1800 666 222 or email [email protected] and we will make arrangements to get your prize.”
