Man hospitalised following stabbing and car theft in Dublin

The incident occurred on Sunday evening.

An investigation has been launched following an incident which saw the stabbing of a man in his 60s in south Dublin.

Gardaí are investigating the incident which occurred in the Rutland Grove area of Crumlin at about 8pm.

It’s understood that the man was approached by a lone male who then stole his car.

The victim was left in a serious condition and is currently being treated in St James’ Hospital. His injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.
